Aims of Scientology - Why It Matters!

The Aims of Scientology:
"A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology.
First announced to an enturbulated world in 1950, these aims are well within the grasp of our technology.
Nonpolitical in nature, Scientology welcomes any individual of any creed, race or nation.
We seek no revolution. We seek only evolution to higher states of being for the individual and for society.
We are achieving our aims." - L. Ron Hubbard, September, 1965.
This is why it matters to the Scientology Movement including myself, being independent, slightly unwillingly.
This is also the reason why Scientology isn't a cult. This is also the reason why Scientology is more popular than Humanism, I think. This is the reason, thirdly, why Anonymous should be careful in attacking Scientology when they have NO explicit commitments themselves!!!
This should be all! Best wishes to you, hopefully as (prosepective) Scientologists yourselves! Cheers!

Note how this also is _constantly left out_ by the critics of Scientology with Sweeney of Panorama and the rest of the lot, sociologists and other "power-critical" nutties!!!

  2. Under Scientology teachings in the scope of the Basics (some 8 or 9 books/manuals), I can _only_ (only as most definite only) and under current psychiatry/psychology as science, recommend E-meter _self-checks_ under E-meter _normative_ instructions!!! I see it as my duty to write you this!

My justification of holding this view is written by L. Ron Hubbard himself and it says in A New Slant on Life that... You can start with pp 36 - 40!

It is quite telling that Hubbard writes on p. 20 that "Nothing in Scientology is true for you unless you have observed it and it is true according to your observation."
    That is, "‎*Nothing*...", mind you!

How to Study Scientology makes me definitely justified to write the above and I DO NOT NEED TO COMPROMISE ON A DIGIT, not the smallest bit of opinion that I hold myself. And according to straight Scientology this is normatively _dead down damn accepted_!!!

Note: First written to Facebook on Monday, 02.01.2012!

  3. Advise to @Scientology and @CCHR / #CCHR : I think it may be wise to go back to the roots of CCHR and start from there with
a BROADER angle toward psychiatry. CCHR has up to this point FAILED to show for academic literature that suggests that
ALL psychiatric medication is wrong or the (definite) cases based on methodology where medication is wrong! I think this
is weak and portrays an "absurd" side of Scientology to the Public! So broader angle, please, and a better _academic_
case against the given aspects of Psychiatry! Good luck! :-)

To the former issue of Religion as possibly rational: I think Scientology clearly is RATIONAL in terms of religion and that the "war" against insanity (by
Aims of Scientology) is one where one identifies the lunacy and mad aspects of society. Evidently, today's psychiatry
is loaded with anti-rationality by its malpractice and self-supporting logic. This fight for rationality (and thereby
Goodness) has to continue and that the duties toward Rationality and Goodness are ABSOLUTE! What is rational and good
can equally well be identical to Scientology. Just read all about it, please! http://www.scientology.org/ ! :-)

  5. On Scientology.
    Wikipedia article says:
"Scientology asserts some people are truly malevolent, and Hubbard taught 20 percent of the population were suppressive persons, which includes some hopelessly antisocial personalities who are the truly dangerous individuals in humanity: "the Adolf Hitlers and the Genghis Khans, the unrepentant murderers and the drug lords.""
I support this statement. There are indeed these educated monsters, both by "practice", actually doing evil, and by free passes at universities all the way to "honour" and doctorates!

As the Wikipedia article seems severely insincere if not straight forward dishonest, you should know the most important Scientology ethics is constituted by The Way to Happiness _followed_ by Introduction to Scientology Ethics to which The Way of Happiness lies at a lower level of the knowledge pyramid of Scientology. In addition comes The Aims of Scientology, describing Scientology as working for Utopia, straight! You may also take notice of The Anti-Authoritarian Principle (my name) on page 23 in On a New Slant of Life! Good?

As Scientology has its Aims of Scientology, it seems logical too that The Way to Happiness, as Scientology ethics, is part of the basics. Ring a bell?
    https://www.thewaytohappiness.org/thewaytohappiness.html

Google Books, Intro. to Scient. Ethics: https://books.google.no/.../Introduction_to_Scientology...

    A New Slant on Life:
Under "Personal Integrity", page 20: "Nothing in Scientology is true for you unless you have observed it and it is true according to your observation. That is all."
Further, the book, A New Slant on Life, pp. 33-34 emphasises the Fallacy from Authority under Chapter How to Study Scientology, section Scientology: An Overview: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority . There is too much text there for me to cite, but you can buy the book for a meagre 20 dollars.
Further more: In Scientology 0 - 8 - The Book of Basics, p. 132, it says by 2.0 and 1.5, respectively, on the Tone Scale under P, Sexual behaviour, Attitude toward children: "Rape, sex as punishment, Brutal treatment of children -and- Promiscuity, perversion, sadism, irregular practices, Use of children for sadistic purposes". Just for reference: 3.0 is needed to provide value as friend. You can get some kind of small "USB"-sticks to measure your value that read the value straight from your skin.
It seems hard to locate these skin readers on the internet and there's the 3-letter acronym for them as well. Something with Dermatology and Electrical, EDR, ADR, ... It causes no harm, of course. It just reads an electrical value of the skin of your hand or wrist. The E-meter of Scientology is comparable, surely, as they have set up the system and EEG is in that direction.
"The World is working against us?"
For the "e-stick-meter", maybe you can just use a good electrometer and go from there, whatever the setting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrometer . (1/2)

  6. Scientology is also described commonly as "what works for you"! You find that Scientology does not work for you, that's perfectly fine! You are free to do whatever other (law-abiding) activity you pleasure!

By http://www.bridgepub.com/.../beginning-books/index.html and 185 dollars, you are ready to reinforce your sense of dignity and purpose with Scientology. No need to take any word from anybody! Those high costs for courses are only paid for as tokens of respect and honour and there's certainly no need for you to spend more than 10% of your income on those courses. So just relax and take your time! Browse the internet, gather information, enjoy! Best wishes!

Clearly, already from the teachings from Scientology cited here, it is obvious that Scientology only respects the decent, the ethical and moral, the law-abiding under Democracy and that people who are like this have a naturally high standing in Scientology. Indeed, one moral precept/rule reads: https://www.thewaytohappiness.org/.../do-not-harm-a... - Do not harm a person of good will! (2/2)
